Join us for an insightful webinar exploring the latest advancements in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and its expanding applications for treatment-resistant depression. This session will delve into the newest FDA-cleared TMS indication for the adolescent population, and other noteworthy TMS protocols, including SAINT and intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS). In addition, you will have opportunities to ask Dr. Y Pritham Raj questions regarding TMS and its current applications.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify individuals who qualify for alternative treatment options such as TMS (neuromodulation) and esketamine and apply protocols and applications for these alternative treatments, including their administration and monitoring.
  • List and explain the technical aspects surrounding these cutting-edge treatments, enabling them to make informed decisions in their clinical practice.
  • Define the societal and healthcare challenges posed by major depressive disorder, major depression with suicidal ideation (MDSI), and treatment-resistant depression.

  • Y Pritham Raj, MD, FACP

    Dr. Pritham Raj is board-certified in internal medicine & psychiatry, specializing in the connection between the mind & body as the Chief Medical Officer at Active Path Mental Health. Dr. Raj earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his Combined Residency Training at Duke University Medical Center where he served as a clinical rater for early TMS trials.
